The instructor also explains how to complete the essay in 30 mins and 200 words, as specified by the Eiken exam. |
Line-by-line edit of the essay
The essay is edited for grammatical, mechanical, and stylistic accuracy. You are also shown how to use transitional elements well so that the essay flows logically. Idioms in the essay are highlighted to help learners identify and remember them. |
Grade
The essay is graded as per the Eiken 1-kyu Essay grading system. Depending on the quality of the essay, one of the 7 grades is awarded - O, A+, A, B+, B, C, and D. In this scale, O corresponds to a score between 22 and 28, and D corresponds to a score of 0. |

This section shows the learner how the essay would read when all the corrections are made. |
